This link leads to a new effort to publish stories about our Patriot ancestors in our local newspapers. Compatriot Mark Lackey, the Registrar and Genealogist of the Catawba Valley Chapter and Webmaster of the Salisbury Chapter has started and promoted this through three local North Carolina newspapers, The Taylorsville Times in Alexander County, The Statesville Record & Landmark in Iredell County and The Salisbury Post in Rowan County.
