Memorial Day at Cedarwood Cemetery

Approximately 200 people gathered at Cedarwood Cemetery on Memorial Day to honor those to made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. The ceremony, co-sponsored by AmVets Post 320 and the Halifax Resolves Chapter NC SAR, was presided over by AmVets Post 320 Past Commander Randy Ferguson.  AmVets Dept. of North Carolina Commander Keith Hutchins was the keynote speaker.  Historic flags around the monument were supplied by the SAR.  Halifax Resolves past President Ken Wilson presented the chapter wreath.  Chapter members E.C. Bobbitt, Geoff Pittard and J. Rives Manning were also in attendance.
