**The Cowpens event will be held as planned. The only difference is the location of the wreath laying.** All other plans remain unchanged.
The new location for the Wreath Laying on Saturday, January 19th at 10 AM is the new Amphitheater in Gaffney, SC. There is parking next to the Amphitheater at the Cherokee County Government Building at: 110 Railroad St, Gaffney, SC. There is plenty of parking. GPS coordinates are: Latitude N 35.077.10. Longitude: W 81.64509
Our annual biscuit and coffee breakfast begins at 9:00am.
This year’s speaker is Jeremiah DeGennaro, the site manager of the Alamance Battleground Historic Site. His presentation will focus on “Why They Fought: Prelude to Revolution in the North Carolina Backcountry -1765 to 1771.”
**Wreath Drop-Off Instructions**
You will drop off your wreaths outside with the Boy Scouts at the cemetery. Then you will park and walk inside the Church (look for signs) to register your wreath, drink hot coffee and eat biscuits.
