William Lee Davidson Chapter, Sons of the Revolution in NC, are co-sponsoring a joint grave marking ceremony for Patriot General Robert Irwin, signer of the Mecklenburg Declaration of Independence. The ceremony begins at 10:30am at Steele Creek Presbyterian Church, 7407 Steele Creek Road, Charlotte, NC 28217. Color Guard members are encouraged to attend. There will be a lunch at Jim ‘N Nicks Restaurant, 13840 Steele Creek Road, Charlotte, NC 28278. The restaurant is located 6 miles south of the church on Steele Creek Road.
